Whether you’re coming to university straight from high school, after a gap year, or as a mature-aged student, the transition into tertiary study can be difficult. It can be hard to know what to expect and what’s expected from you, especially if you’ve never studied at a tertiary level before.
Evangelical Students can help you find your feet in your new lifestyle before your first semester even begins. We provide a wide range of events and services in the lead up to Orientation Week that can help you meet like-minded people and establish new life-long friendships.

Starting at Uni can be daunting, but you don't have to do it alone. Christian Students from AFES groups at QUT, UQ, and Griffith University will be gathering before the start of Semester 1. We will spend time in God's word, sing together, hear from some upper-year students, and get to know one another over a meal.
When? 3-7pm, Monday the 10th February, 2025.
Where? Ann Street Presbyterian Church, Brisbane CBD.
Cost? $10 for Dinner (FREE for First-Year Students).
O-Week
