Summer Stuff- Tuesday Nights

  • What: a Night of Fellowship with Dinner from 6, or come along at 7 for Bible Study, Mission Review and Fun Stuff too!
  • When: January 15th; 22nd; 29th and February 5th and 12th from 6-9:30pm
  • Where: St Andrew's Anglican Church, South Brisbane (heaps of parking and right near trains and buses at Southbank)
  • Why: Because even over Summer we should be reflecting and meeting up over God's word.
  • Who: YOU!!! even if you've never been involved in ES before, we'd love for you to join us! Also a GREAT opportunity to bring along people from your church and other's that you know who are coming to UQ next year to- help them meet some other Christians before they start!
  • Cost: Bring $5 if you're joining us for dinner.

Summer Stuff Training- Thursday Nights

  • What: an addition to the Tuesday Nights, a good opportunity to get your teeth stuck into some good training courses
  • When: January 17th; 24th;31st and February 7th from 7-9pm Where: St Andrew's Anglican Church, South Brisbane- we'll be in the club room, not the hall this night
  • What: We'll be looking a Protestantism and Islam in preparation for our Semester One Mission.
  • Why: Because it's not possible to cover everything on a Tuesday Night and Thursday will be a great chance to equip yourself with tools to get you through the year.
  • Who: Everyone (and that includes YOU)

START-UP CAMP!

  • When: Thursday Night February 14th- Sunday February 17th (get your work unavailabilities in ASAP!)
  • Where: Camp Constable, Mount Glorious
  • Who: Anyone and Everyone who's going to be at UQ next year.
  • Topic: Keith Birchley will be taking us through the '4 P's of Ministry'
  • Cost: $75 (for a 4 day camp, this is a bargain!)
  • What: A Great chance to go away and meditate on God's Word and Fellowship with other ES-er's before Uni kicks off again. Also a good chance to help plan and get involved in O-Week and First Semester Mission as well as find out what's going on this year at ES.
  • Why: Because it is going to be absolutely FANTASTIC and something you DO NOT want to miss out on!!!
