What to bring?
This weekend we’ll be staying in tents. We hope to be doing some blokey stuff in the bush so bring some old clothes to get dirty in, as well as some warm clothes for the nights.
Here’s a list of thing’s you’ll want to bring. If you don’t have anything, make a note of it when you register below, and we’ll organise for someone to bring spares.
* Bible & pen
* tent (indicate when you register if you’re happy to/need to share)
* camping mattress
* sleeping bag & pillow
* bring your own plate, bowl & cutlery (incl. steak knife if you’ve got one)
* tea towel
* warm clothes
* hat & sunscreen
* insect repellant
* pocket knife (if you have one) for making stuff out of sticks and branches
* anything else you reckon would be fun to do with other blokes!
Cost? $40 for the weekend.
When & Where?
Sunset is at 5:22pm but it’s easier to scope out the ground and set up a tent in the daylight, so we recommend you aim to arrive at 5:00pm. We have the site booked from 3pm, so feel free to arrive early so you can help others to set up when they arrive. Then we’ll fire up the BBQs and start cooking around 6pm. Let us know if you’re going to be later than 6:30pm or so, so that and we can make sure there’s food for you when you arrive.
On Sunday, we’ll have lunch and then packup and go home. So you should be home in plenty of time to unpack, clean up, and go to church at night if you need to.
This year we’re at “Triple C” Campsite – 245 Cedar Creek Road, Cedar Creek, QLD, 4520. Here’s a map to help you find your way…
